Other: Turi Gramstad Oliver was born in 1938 in Sandnes (NO). Between 1956 and 1958 she studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo, while working in the workshop of Kari Nyquist. She finished her education at the Arts and Crafts School in Bergen, after which she started to work for Figgjo AS in Sandnes. When the factory closed in 1979, Turi Gramstad Oliver devoted her time mostly to painting and drawing. For Figgjo she designed several services as well as individual pieces, like this vase.
